My pet can be excitable and not very well behaved, will you still be able to photograph them?
Having worked with shelter and rescue dogs over the last year and numerous years working in the equine photography world, there isn't a personality I haven't come across. I have quite a few tricks up my sleeve (and in my camera bag!) to capture your pet's personality perfectly, so please do not let your pets behavior rule out a session all together.

I am not very confident in having my dog off leash, will this effect my images?
Definitely not! Thanks to technology and Photoshop having your dog on a leash is no problem at all. Being in a new environment with different sights and smells can be very distracting to a dog, which is why time is put aside at the beginning of your session to let your dog investigate their new surroundings. The majority of dogs I photograph are leashed.

I own more than one pet, are they all included in the session?
Having owned numerous pets in the past I know one is never enough! If you have more than one pet then the Horseshoe session will suit you as it includes time to photograph up to two pets from the same household. Any additional pets can be added to the Horseshoe session at $50 each and includes 10-20 extra images in your viewing and ordering appointment.

The weather forecast is predicting rain for our session day, what happens then?
Weather and sunlight plays a huge part in a photographic session, therefore if the weather is not ideal on our preferred date another date will be selected at no extra cost. It can also be very uncomfortable for you and your pet during the warmer months of summer, which is why water breaks are a must. If the temperature is too excessive then it may be in our best interests to reschedule for a cooler day.

Where are the best locations for photo sessions?
As well as weather, location plays a big part in the creation of your images. Once you book your session we can discuss a location that suits your needs, for example the local park your dog loves to have a play in or a grassy paddock where your horse is located. If you are unsure of a location I am happy to help you select a spot I think will suit your pet and their personality.

When do I get to see the images from my session?
Your final images will be presented to you in a custom slideshow set to music during the viewing and ordering appointment 1-2 weeks after your session. We will then go through the images to pick out your favourites and design your custom art pieces to suit your home. During the booking process I would have ask you to take a few snapshots of the walls where you would like to hang your finished art pieces and this is the time to see them on your walls in real time! You can then decide which size print will suit the size of your wall and what framing options will tie into the room decor. If you are unsure what products will suit your home i am happy to help you through this process.
