Assistance Dogs Australia Fundraiser

2023 Assistance Dogs Australia Fundraiser

I'm hoping to raise over $3,000 for Assistance Dogs Australia this year

It's hard to imagine life without a furry friend, but for many Australians who are in need of an assistance dog, that's a reality. Assistance Dogs Australia provide fully trained assistance dogs to people who have a disability, and they do it at no cost to the recipient. In fact, each dog takes 2 years to go through their training program at a cost of over $40,000, with a current wait list of over 2 years.

So, how can you help?

I will be calling out to certain dog breeds to book into a limited number of photo sessions. Only 5 sessions will be available each month at the special price of just $99. January will be dogs with breeds that begin with the letters A and B, February will be breeds that start with C and D, March will be E and F, and so on. Both purebred and mixed breeds dogs are welcome.

I will be making a $50 donation to Assistance Dogs Australia from each photo session booking, which will help them continue to do the amazing work they do. My end goal is to donate $3,000 in total (if not more!), can you help me reach my goal?

For the month of September, I am looking for all the R and S dog breeds

Calling all Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Rottweilers, Saint Bernards, Salukis, Samoyeds, Schipperkes, Scottish Deerhounds, Scottish Terriers, Shetland Sheepdogs, Shiba Inus, Shih Tzus, Siberian Huskys, Silky Terriers, Spaniels, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Standard Poodles, Schnauzers, Swedish Lapphunds and Swedish Vallhunds, and every breed and mix in between R and S, this is your month to shine! Including all the amazing rescue dogs who's breeds we are not sure about.

There are only 4 opportunities left for the month of September, get in quick as they will fill fast.

You do not have to book your photo session in this month, it can be booked between now and mid December.

Does your dog's breed not start with the letter R or S, but want to get involved? Did you miss out on your breed month earlier in the year? Simply fill in the form below and I will be in contact.

I have a reactive dog, do you have any suitable locations for us?
Yes, please reach out to me after your booking and I can suggest a location, date and time suitable for your dog/s.

My dog can't be let off the lead, will this be a problem?
Not at all, the majority of my photo session locations require dogs to remain on the lead which I can simply edit out in Photoshop.

Hello! I'm Allira and I have been photographing pets and their people all over Sydney for over 10 years. I first began my pet photography journey volunteering for local rescue groups, which was such a rewarding experience. Since then, I have had my work published in multiple articles, featured in a pet photography tutorial video made by Adobe, won national awards for my images and, most importantly, captured priceless memories for hundreds of pet parents just like you.

I understand that a dog is not just a dog, they are your whole world. My life almost revolves around my two dogs Archie and Chico, from weekly outings at off leash properties to the very best in dog nutrition and care, my dogs and the definition of spoilt! As it should be right?

I know the images I capture aren't just any old photos, these will be life-long memories that will be cherish for years to come.

I have booked 4 photo sessions with Allira, and each time I am amazed with the way she captures not only our dogs beautiful looks, but she is able to capture their personality quirks too. In each session, she has been so patient and understanding of reactive dogs, allowing everything to go smoothly. One of my dogs has recently passed, and the gorgeous photos I have of her will keep her soul forever present in my home.

Minty and Tilly are our much loved mother and daughter team. During our photo session, I wanted to capture a variety of images of both girls both individually and together. Allira is very professional and has an affinity with all animals. Her photographs are stunning and patience is endless, especially with two energetic dogs!

Thanks for the beautiful photos of Blizzie the Greyhound! These images perfectly capture Blizzie's essence and will be cherished memories for years to come. Your skill in highlighting Blizzie's personality, from their playful moments to their elegant demeanor, is truly impressive. These photos hold more than just images; they're a heartfelt reminder of our special connection.
