Shadow's session at Terrace Falls wins a Top 20 photo award!

I am absolutely over the moon that my image of Shadow at Terrace Falls made it into the top 20 for the Dogscape section of the photography challenges I am doing in 2023. In total there were 72 images submitted from all around the world, and mine was chosen as one of the top 20. Honestly I am lost for words.

For the photography buffs out there, this is one single photo (not a composite made of 2 different images) taken at half a second shutter speed. That means Shadow and myself had to stay perfectly still for half a second to capture a sharp and in focus image. And, like me, you know dogs rarely stay still for more than a millisecond, which makes this photo even more incredible.

Shadow's pet parent, Rachel, loves this image so much she is getting it framed large for her home. The below image is a digital preview of how the image will look on the wall, which Rachel has ordered and will grace her walls shortly.
