Walter's photo session at Castle Hill Heritage Park

10 July, 2019

Walter is the first Saint Bernard I have had the chance to photograph, and all I can say is he was an absolute blast to photograph! At only 8 months old, Walter still has plenty of growing to go. Large breed puppies can take up to 24 - 36 months to fully mature into adulthood, and due to this longer growth period their diet is monitored to make sure they don't grow too quick too soon.

We met at Castle Hill Heritage Park for our photo session, and, although it was a busy weekend, Walter took everything in his stride. He was amazing to sit and stay in one place, and loved running towards the camera chasing his newly found stick. Honestly, his face says it all! Tongue flying and wide eyed, his expressions while running were priceless!

Walter is a bit of an Instagram celebrity too. He is often stopped in the street and has his picture taken with adoring fans. I mean, who blames them, he is gorgeous! Walter's Instagram account is definitely one you want to check out, click here to see more of his antics and give him a follow.

I can't wait to see how he grows over the next year or so, and what better way to document his life than through photos!
